Services have grown from activities and daily meals in each of our six locations, to also include home-delivered meals, lawn service, housing, and medical transportation.   • Wednesday, March 20, 2024 • 10:00am ELDER LAW: What You Don’t Know CAN Hurt You You can learn the hard way by going through life making mistakes and living to share your heartache, or you can learn a better way before making mistakes. As we age, we don’t have time to try again, so we need to learn what pitfalls seniors make and how to avoid them. Lisa will share some cautionary tales, and discuss some of the common mistakes that have a big impact. Presented by Lisa Hostetler Brown, LawyerLisa Founder, Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation.

The Shepherd’s Center of America has approximately one hundred centers across the country. They were founded as a means for older adults to continue to stretch their horizons, be contributing members of society, and help each other. The Shepherd’s Center is open to all persons and is intercultural, interfaith, and interracial. Classes are taught by people knowledgeable in their field. The classes cover many topics including history, science, literature, music, exercise, and much more. LawyerLisa currently teaches at two of their centers. To participate in the semester of classes, you must register with the Center.
